One Green Monday And People Have Lost Their Minds, Me Included
TECHNICAL ANALYSIS
All Eyes On Ethereum 👀
This is the only chart for today because it’s getting kind of exciting. 💖
Bulls are definitely keeping their eyes on $ETH ( ▲ 1.1% ) ’s daily Ichimoku chart. Yes, ETH may close back above its Tenkan-Sen and Kijun-Sen. But the Chikou Span is the condition bulls really need to see resolve.
Its still inside the Cloud. That leaves it vulnerable to the suck and misery reserved for everything trapped in that most horrible of places. A daily close at or above $1,958 would put the Chikou above the Cloud and into open space. And the probabilities of that happening look good from an oscillator perspective: The Composite Index looks positioned to cross and clos above both moving averages. The Detrended Price Oscillator looks positioned to move and close above its zero line.
Let’s see what happens. 🔭

AgentPit Lets AI Traders Blow Up Fake Money First 🤯

$SKL ( ▼ 2.4% ) just launched AgentPit, a Polymarket-compatible sandbox where AI agents can trade synchronized prediction markets with simulated USDC instead of actual money. Sensible. A rare sight. 🤦
It mirrors Polymarket’s market questions, prices, resolution states, API structure, and limit-order mechanics, then lets developers test strategies against a production-style order book. Agents can also trade alongside other bots and humans in shared markets.
This is cool. But also, I’m a little scared. Still cool.
Paper trading has existed forever, mostly as a way to make people feel brilliant before live slippage introduces itself with a tire iron. AgentPit is trying to close that gap by using real market conditions rather than made-up test data. Developers can benchmark agents, debug behavior, and see what happens when several autonomous systems spot the same headline and reach wildly different conclusions.
One caveat: no sandbox fully recreates live-market panic, thin liquidity, latency, bad fills, and humans doing human things at 2:14 a.m. 🤖

Algorand v5 Is A Fee Model Wearing a Quantum Costume 🎃
$ALGO ( ▼ 0.3% ) 's v5.0.0 upgrade cleared its 90% support threshold on August 15 and heads to mainnet after a roughly seven-day cooldown. Without getting into the nitty gritty details, Algorand is starting to price transactions by the resources they consume. 🥔
A simple transfer remains cheap. A transaction using extra data, block space, or computation costs more. That reads like standard utility billing, which is exactly the point. And in case you forgot, blockchains have spent years pretending every action cost roughly the same to process. It does not.
The quantum-account addition made this hard to ignore. Its signatures are efficient to verify but larger inside a block. Under a flat-fee model, ordinary users would subsidize the more demanding transaction. v5 creates a mechanism to charge for the real footprint instead.
Those fees flow into a shared pool intended to support the people operating nodes. So this is an early test of whether Algorand can build a network economy where activity helps pay for the infrastructure it uses.
The Foundation says regular payments and basic transfers will stay as affordable as before. Good. The risk sits elsewhere: a usage-based fee system only becomes self-supporting if the chain attracts enough real, recurring demand. A very elegant toll booth on an empty highway still has a revenue problem. 🤔

PAXG’s Gold-Bar Paper Trail Is Weirdly Cool 🪙
Paxos says its rebuilt $PAXG ( ▲ 0.8% ) allocator now maps roughly 500,000 ounces of gold across more than 62,000 holders to specific London vault bars in seconds. The old system updated every two hours. The new one processes the average event in 1.24 milliseconds.
I’ve always wanted to know how this works, too. Turns out it is not one giant spreadsheet. It is a relentless, very expensive game of fractional-bar Tetris.
Bars are uneven. A London gold bar is roughly 400 ounces, though weight and purity vary. One PAXG holder’s balance can be spread across several bars, down to three decimal places.
Transfers update only what changed. The delta engine moves a sender’s smallest bar fragments first, which leaves their remaining allocation less scattered. Mints fill bars with the most open capacity. Burns remove the smallest fragments.
The system cleans up after itself. An hourly optimizer merges fragmented holdings and works to give large holders exclusive whole bars. It scans the full holder base in under 40 seconds.
The math gets checked constantly. Every 15 minutes, Paxos validates that total bar capacity equals allocated gold plus free capacity. Each hour, it compares holder allocations with on-chain balances and corrects any drift.
This is not glamorous crypto infrastructure. It is better. If tokenized gold is supposed to be more than a shiny IOU with a dashboard, this is the kind of boring, precise stuff crypto does well. 👍️

🖥️ Brave Makes Your GPU Less Useful To Trackers
Brave 1.93 is rolling out default GPU-fingerprinting protection across desktop and Android after its crawl found most sites accessing these graphics signals solely for tracking. The browser now replaces WebGL vendor and renderer details with generic values, empties WebGPU hardware descriptors, and randomizes supported WebGL extensions by site, session, and storage area. Websites still get graphics acceleration; trackers get fewer durable clues about which expensive rectangle lives inside your computer. Basic Attention Token.

🏭 Dusk Says SME Tokenization Needs More Than Fractions
I almost took these guys off my bookmarks because I thought they stopped updating, but not anymore! Dusk argues tokenization helps SMEs when issuance, eligibility, ownership, transfers, dividends, voting, and settlement share one controlled record. Smaller units alone do not create buyers, legal certainty, or liquidity, and notaries, venues, custodians, payment rails, and compliance officers remain stubbornly employed. Its NPEX partnership links Dusk’s private, selectively disclosed settlement infrastructure with an authorized Dutch trading venue pursuing the EU DLT Pilot Regime. Dusk.

📉 CRV Emissions Slip Below 100 Million
CRV’s annual emission rate fell 15.9% from roughly 115.5 million to 97.2 million as Epoch 6 began, removing about 18.4 million tokens from the coming year’s issuance. The hardcoded schedule cuts emissions by the same factor every August, halves them every four years, and now issues CRV at 4.03% of total supply. Curve Finance.
