Great. Levered Mortgages. 🏚️

Change Lending and Profitr announced they're building a blockchain-native marketplace for tokenized home loans on $AVAX ( ▲ 2.95% ), with Anchorage Digital Bank holding custody. 🤝

Institutional buyers get instant settlement and interest that accrues in real time. They can also hold those mortgage interests "with or without leverage." Levered home loans that settle at stablecoin speed. Great.

The loans look clean on paper - average FICO above 740, loan-to-value under 75%. That's also what a no-doc book tends to look like, since it leans on credit and equity instead of pay stubs.

Can those of us normies get in? Probably not, unless you're a bank, insurer, asset manager or REIT. There's no launch date or volume target yet, either. For scale, Figure pushed $5.12 billion through its on-chain loan marketplace last quarter alone.

Avalanche will take it anyway. Its $11 billion real-world asset count is 94% one copper-and-gold token that's barely left the wallet it was minted to. 🦗

NEWS
Interesting Timing, Schroders 🌍

Schroders ($1 trillion, London) brought its actively managed emerging markets bond strategy to $SOL ( ▲ 2.1% ) today, with $CFG ( ▲ 7.67% ) handling the tokenization. It's Schroders' first fund on Solana and a step past the money market fund it got approval to tokenize in August. Minimum ticket: $100,000. ☀️

How's EM debt doing in 2026? Ask the dollar. The dollar index is up 3.4% this year, and the Indonesian rupiah is down nearly 8% against it. VanEck's local-currency EM bond ETF, EMLC, is down 4.9% on price. iShares' dollar-denominated EMB is down 4.6%.

The announcement skipped fund size and fees, and didn't say how the strategy has held up this year. What you hold is a tokenized share of a feeder fund, which invests in Schroders' Emerging Market Bond Fund, which holds the bonds.

Centrifuge's strategy chief says on-chain fixed income has mostly been cash and short-term government paper until now. Not today. Levered mortgages up top, emerging markets credit down here. 🎢

NEWS
X Money's Bank Wants Its Loans On Arbitrum 🏦

Cross River (same bank Coinbase ans X use) is teaming up with $ARB ( ▲ 4.7% ) developer Offchain Labs to tokenize loans the moment they're originated. The loans would sit on Arbitrum One from day one, with Cross River still the lender of record. Production is targeted for early 2027. 🔗

Also, this is the third tokenization story today, and the only one where the asset is born on-chain instead of bundled after the fact. Borrowers won't notice a thing. The change is for whoever buys the loans, with forward-flow programs that can run continuously and a door open to on-chain funds and overseas investors.

Cross River knows that game from the buyer's side, too - in June it agreed to buy up to $250 million of Figure's crypto-backed loans. It's backed by a16z and KKR and was last valued north of $3 billion. 🤷

⚡ LayerZero's Zero Matches 10,000 Orders A Second

21X, the first venue licensed under the EU's DLT Pilot Regime to run trading and settlement in one place, spent a month running its order book for tokenized U.S. stocks on a private version of LayerZero's Zero chain. ⚖ SEC Staff Calls Canton Coin A Commodity

Speaking of Canton, SEC staff granted no-action relief saying Canton Coin is a digital commodity, not a security, and that validators and app providers can mint it without registering.
