They’re SECZ And They Know It 🫢
Securitize is now on the NYSE, and tokenized itself. Their ticker is $SECZ ( 0.0% ), pronounced ‘sexy’.
Also: roughly $265 million of tokenized SECZ went live on $AVAX ( ▲ 0.52% ) and $SOL ( ▲ 4.57% ) , instantly the largest tokenized stock in the world and the first time a newly public company has put its own shares on-chain on Day 1.
No synthetic token, no offshore wrapper. This is the same common stock trading on the NYSE, issuer-sponsored, available to eligible U.S. investors through a regulated platform with full KYC/AML checks.
And for those of us who have been in crypto for a long time, this is such a great story for the history of crypto.
Securitize has been on the tokenization goal since 2017, back when RWA tokenization wasn't even a narrative yet. They kept building through the 2018 winter and the 2022 wipeout while capital chased whatever was shinier that quarter. I mean they’ve been through the proverbial poo like the rest of us.
Today the company manages $4B+ in tokenized assets, with BlackRock, Apollo, KKR, VanEck, and Hamilton Lane on the partner list. Everyone else spent a decade debating whether real-world assets would ever come on-chain. Securitize just turned its own ticker into one.
Hard work rarely pays off on schedule in this industry. This morning it rang the opening bell.

MetaMask Hands Over The Float 💵
MetaMask launched Money Account this week: fund it, everything converts to mUSD (their dollar stablecoin - backed 1:1 by cash and short-term T-bills in regulated custody), and the whole balance earns up to 4% APY while you use it.
Trading, transfers, card spend with up to 3% back at Mastercard merchants - whatever's idle keeps earning through all of it. No lockups, no minimums, no fee to open. Runs on $MON ( ▼ 1.61% ) , deposits in one tap if you're already holding USDC, USDT, or DAI.
"Dead dollars are done," per the marketing. Corny line. Right product. Good on you, MetaMask.

Robinhood's New Chain Has Everything Except a Token and Americans
$HOOD ( ▲ 3.76% ) flipped the mainnet switch on Robinhood Chain yesterday at a London event called "The World is Flat".
In a nutshell, Robinhood Chain is an $ARB ( ▲ 0.6% ) Layer 2 built on Ethereum, using Ethereum blobs for data availability and ETH as the native gas token, fully EVM-compatible with first-come-first-served sequencing and 100ms block times.
What Is In It?
Stonk Tokens. Tokenized equities - Nvidia, Apple, the big names - trading 24/7 in 120+ countries, usable in lending pools and as trading collateral, with spot routing through five DEX venues: Uniswap, Rialto, Lighter, Arcus, and 1inch. Not available in the US, and restricted in Canada, the UK, Switzerland, and the UAE.
Robinhood Earn. Lend USDG at an estimated 7% APY through a self-custody wallet, with insurance procured through Lloyd's of London and RELM. This one is rolling out to US users, inside the main app. Where the yield comes from is in the ticker rundown below.
Perps via Lighter. Blocked in the US, UK, Canada, Switzerland, UAE, and Singapore. Lighter committed $11 million in LIT to the Robinhood community, with double points for trading through Robinhood Wallet.
Gas is covered for the first 90 days on swaps, bridging, and perps.
There’s A Whole Lotta Tickers Attached To This
ARB - the chain runs on Arbitrum's stack
ETH - gas token, and the whole thing settles back to Ethereum
LINK - Chainlink is the official data and cross-chain oracle for the chain and all Robinhood-issued assets, with CCIP, Data Streams, and Data Feeds live from day one
UNI - Uniswap is deploying a dedicated AMM (automated market maker) as the primary public liquidity protocol, with Pleiades taking the prop-trading side
ZRX - 0x is providing RFQ-based liquidity for Stock Tokens - quote-driven pricing from professional market makers rather than open pools - plus cross-chain swaps for moving assets on and off the chain in one transaction. 0x has run Robinhood Wallet's swap plumbing since 2023. Ironically, ZRX sits on Robinhood's own list of crypto it doesn't support for trading.
1INCH - routing Stock Token and ETP swaps through its dApp, Wallet, and Swap API in both Classic Swap and Fusion modes, with pricing data backed by Bitstamp, the exchange Robinhood acquired in 2025
MORPHO - Robinhood Earn runs on Morpho's lending protocol, roughly $6.6 billion in TVL. USDG deposits go into a Morpho Vault curated by Steakhouse Financial, and borrowers pay the interest that becomes the 7%.
ENA, SPK, SYRUP - the collateral bench. Borrowers post collateral from Ethena, Spark, and Maple to borrow the USDG, and their interest payments are the yield. So when someone asks where 7% comes from in a 4%-Treasury world: leveraged DeFi borrowers.
DYDX - dYdX Labs and Robinhood Crypto spent a year co-building Arcus, a DEX on the chain trading 95 Stock Tokens spot at zero fees, live now, with 35 RWA perps on a waitlist. Robinhood Crypto put money in. DYDX pumped more than 40% into the "major announcement," then dropped 23% to around $0.14 once holders read the fine print: development focus moves to a new entity with its own planned token, while the old one keeps the $92 million chain.
LIT - Lighter's token, funding the perps rewards pool
Count the execution models in that list: public AMM, prop AMM, RFQ market makers, aggregation routing, and a full order book DEX. Five layers on day one. Nobody owns order flow on this chain, which is clearly the point.

The Flats: A Natural History of Crypto's Third Quarter 🐃
This is a satirical nature documentary about seasonality data. The numbers are real. The wildebeest did not. None of it is financial advice or a forecast. Twelve years is twelve data points, and past performance guarantees nothing except that August is out there, waiting.
Dawn, on the second day of July. The retail trader emerges from the wreckage of his first half - a 31% drawdown, the third worst ever recorded in this ecosystem - and sees a green candle on the horizon. Hope, in this species, regrows overnight.
He believes the danger has passed.
He is wrong. August has been watching him for 12 years.
The Habitat
The flats - the third quarter - are a plain where nothing has ever happened. In 11 complete years of observation, no yearly high has printed here. No yearly low, either. Every other quarter has hosted at least one of the year's great events. The flats have hosted zero, in either direction, since record-keeping began.
Q3 is the worst quarter on the calendar by median at -5.0%, tied for the worst win rate at 5 green closes in 12, and never once a season where July, August, and September all closed green.
July: The False Rain
The dry season opens with water. July runs green 2 years in 3, and is most generous when the herd arrives weakest - every June that closed red has been followed by a green July, 4-for-4, median +10.6%.
The quarter's high has printed in July in 7 of 12 years, and a green July is followed by a green August just 38% of the time.
August: The Waterhole
August is the deadliest month on the crypto calendar - a 25% win rate, the worst median of any month at -9.9%, red in 6 of the last 8 years and the last 4 straight. Every green August in recorded history came in a halving year or the year immediately after one. In all other years, the waterhole stands at 0-for-9.
2026 is not one of those years.
September: The Specimen
September's finest movement in 12 years is +7.5% - the only month never to print a double-digit gain, in an ecosystem where every other month has hit at least +27.5%. September will not kill you. September will not do anything.
