Report: Going Up Now Preferred To Going Up Later 👍

Here’s What’s Happening 👇

Today’s top trending tickers:

NEWS
Securitize Is Having The Best Week In Crypto 🥳

If crypto were a parking lot full of Minnesota Vikings fans, everyone would be staring into a crockpot of lukewarm cheese dip except for one guy named Cy “SECZ” Curitize. That guy, $SECZ ( ▲ 9.06% ), is just always smiling and in an annoyingly good mood. 😶

SECZ just got married. Landed his dream job. Finished a handmade canoe carved from a fallen 500-year-old iron oak. Shot a tirty-point buck. Pulled a 30-inch walleye through a hole the size of a Red Bull can. Then helped a blind man see before supper. All in one week.

That is roughly how well things are going at Securitize. 🦌

Winning #1: Tokenizing Professional Sports Teams

If this sounds an awful lot like the $CHZ ( ▲ 3.86% ) piece I did not too long ago, you’d be correct. Except, now this is now a thing between Chiliz and Securitize.

Fans can buy jerseys, overpriced beer, commemorative bricks, and the lifelong privilege of letting strangers ruin every Sunday. But ownership has mostly been reserved for billionaires and private-equity firms with very clean loafers.

Soon, hopefully, normies like you and me will be able to get in on that money game. Fair enough. Tokenizing part of Manchester City requires slightly more paperwork than launching FartBonk Inu. And this is only win #1. 🤯

Winning #2: HINC Gets A Job In DeFi

Just this Tuesday (September 1), Securitize’s $HINC ( ▼ 0.11% ) tokenized fund went live as collateral within Loopscale’s Solana credit markets. Eligible holders can now borrow $USDG ( ▼ 0.0% ) without selling their HINC position.

HINC invests primarily in high-yield bonds, plus CLOs, leveraged loans, and other income-producing credit assets. This gives on-chain borrowers a new kind of collateral beyond cash and Treasury products.

Keep the asset. Access liquidity. Let the portfolio continue doing its job. 👍

Winning #3: Securitize Adds USDG To The Mix

A few days earlier, Securitize joined the Global Dollar Network to integrate USDG into its investor flows. The company now oversees roughly $5 billion in tokenized assets, including BlackRock’s $BUIDL ( 0.0% ). Adding USDG gives those investor flows another regulated dollar rail for moving money onchain.

Securitize keeps bringing it. And Cy “SECZ” Curitize probably helped an old lady cross the street by the time you finished reading this. 🤦

I was just about to end this story with a line about Securitize probably helping an old lady cross the street while I was writing it. Then this popped up. 👇

Winning #4: BFF With Dubai’s VARA

Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority and Securitize announced a new Memorandum of Understanding focused on advancing regulated tokenized markets across Dubai.

The agreement covers: tokenization initiatives, institutional participation, market infrastructure, research, and ecosystem development. Fantastic. This story is getting to long because of the constant stream of wins. Please stop.

My folks are in town from Minnesota and want to see their grandkids. And if you, SECZ, keep doing wining things, my kids won’t be able to see grandpa and grandma because I'll have to keep adding the wins and never finish this draft and then I’ll get hangry and then my wife will talk to me about work life balance at supper and it will be awkward.

For the sake of the grandchildren, just slow down for one day. Please. Thank you. 🙏

Truflation Keeps Showing The Fed Its Rear-View Mirror 🪞

$TRUF ( ▲ 0.44% ) really does not get enough credit. Case in point: its response to Kevin Warsh’s first Jackson Hole speech as Fed Chair. 📰

Warsh told the Fed to stop setting policy with stale or inaccurate data. Truflation put a price on that problem. Official U.S. CPI and PCE ran at 3.40% and 3.70%. Truflation’s real-time readings were 2.31% and 2.67%. Feed official PCE into a Taylor rule and the implied policy rate lands at 5.65%.

Use Truflation’s PCE and it drops to 4.11%. Its CPI estimate puts the rate at 3.57%, just 6 basis points from the effective fed funds rate.

Truflation says this comes from more than 100 million daily price points, 500-plus indexes and feeds, and 60-plus independent providers. Its one-period-ahead CPI forecasts match BLS releases with 99.93% accuracy, weeks before those releases arrive.

The Fed is steering a $30 trillion economy through the rear-view mirror. Truflation is measuring what is happening now. Check out there stuff, it’s great. 🧠

Injective May Be The RWA Chain Everyone Expected Elsewhere 🍍

More than $1 billion in real estate mortgages has now been tokenized on $INJ ( ▲ 5.94% ), with $PAPL ( ▲ 2.17% ) planning to move its full historical portfolio over time: 29,000-plus funded mortgages worth more than $10 billion. 😱

Injective says that puts the chain among the largest Layer 1 networks by total RWA value almost overnight. Also, Injective is doing more than posting a large asset number. Injective Mint is in private alpha, the network says it now has an SEC-registered transfer agent, and companies including LG and POSCO have already used it for tokenization pilots.

There is still an asterisk. $1 billion has been tokenized. The other $9 billion is a stated migration goal, and putting mortgage records on-chain does not automatically create liquidity or a tradable market.

Still, this is how an L1 takes an RWA position: bring over assets that already exist, attach compliant infrastructure, and make everyone else explain why their tokenization strategy remains a press release and a dashboard nobody checks. 👍

Stellar Finally Got The Dollar It Was Built To Move 💵

$XLM ( ▲ 7.63% ) has spent a decade (omg has it been that long?!) building fast, cheap payment infrastructure across Latin America, Africa, and Asia. Now it finally has the stablecoin those markets already use. 📆

$USDT0 ( ▲ 0.06% ) is live on Stellar through $ZRO ( ▲ 9.89% )’s OFT standard, giving the network access to a unified supply backed 1:1 by USDT and roughly $190 billion in global liquidity. No wrapped copy, isolated pool, custodial bridge, or conversion detour held together with hope and a multisig.

This is an unusually obvious fit. Also… it took a while. Stellar settles in about five seconds, charges fractions of a cent, and connects to cash ramps across more than 170 countries. USDT dominates digital-dollar activity in many of those same markets. The rails and the cargo have been staring at each other from opposite sides of the room for years.

USDT0 is already supported by Kraken, Fireblocks, Bitget, Lobstr, Freighter, and others, with SushiSwap providing an early DeFi venue. Users can move it, trade it, borrow against it, or use it for settlement alongside USDC and EURC.

Nice work Stellar. 👍
