Wall Street Finally Adopts Crypto After Carefully Removing All The Crypto From It 🏦

Here’s What’s Happening 👇

TECHNICAL ANALYSIS
Fed Holds, Bitcoin Stays In The Cloud ☁

The Fed left rates at 3.75% to 4.00% today, and $BTC ( ▲ 0.54% ) barely blinked. It’s holding above 81K and still in the Cloud. 😶

For those not in the know, the Cloud is the Bad Place. It’s the ex you keep going back to, swearing it’s in therapy and this time is different. You keep falling for it because you can’t wait long enough to learn whether it changed or it’s still batshit crazy.

What’s It Promising This Time?

  • The CI found its floor. October’s 16 landed in the 0 to 20 zone, home to a third of every CI bottom since 2018.

  • The bounce is real-ish. Dips like this, followed by that 13-day cross, held the low 34 of 62 times since 2017. So good odds?

What’s It Not Telling You?

  • The Fed isn’t coming to the rescue. Two officials voted to hike, not cut.

  • The CI’s 70 to 80 ceiling stopped both October bounces cold, at 77 and 80.

  • The DPO never flushed. It bottomed at -2.8%, short of its -5% to -10% floor.

  • The bottom of the Cloud (Senkou Span B) climbs from 74.9K to 81.1K by Nov 6. The floor is coming up to meet it.

Until it moves out, above or below, it’s a hurry up and wait situation. ⌛

Analytics on Live Data Without Leaving Postgres

When analytics on Postgres slows down, most teams add a second database. Then come the pipelines, the sync jobs, and a copy of your data that's always a little behind.

TimescaleDB takes a different approach: extend Postgres instead of splitting away from it. Hypertables partition your data automatically as volume grows. Hypercore compression cuts storage up to 95%. Continuous aggregates keep dashboards live without re-querying everything.

CERN runs Postgres this way for sensor data from the Large Hadron Collider.

No split architecture, no pipeline lag, no new query language to learn. Same SQL, same drivers, same tools.

It's Aliiiiive! DTCC Throws The Switch On Tokenization ⚡

Three days before Halloween, somebody at DTCC pulled the big lever. The Depository Trust Company launched the DTCC Tokenization Service today, letting firms flip securities held at DTC into on-chain "digital twins" and back again. 🧟

How big is the DTCC? $114 trillion in custody big. And its subsidiaries pushed $4.7 quadrillion in transactions through the pipes last year. T

Twenty firms have signed on, including $JPM ( ▲ 1.05% ), $BAC ( ▲ 0.34% ), $C ( ▲ 1.16% ), $MS ( ▲ 1.72% ), Fidelity, Citadel Securities and Edward Jones. I had to do a double take when I saw Edward Jones there. It runs on the Canton Network and DTCC's private Besu chain for now, with more networks penciled in for 2027. ⚡

Ooo, Sneaky! Midnight Throws An Invisibility Cloak Over Ethereum Apps 🥷

Midnight teamed up with Sig Network to give Ethereum apps privacy without packing up and moving chains. Users get shielded on $NIGHT ( ▼ 2.53% )'s chain, and the money never leaves $ETH ( ▲ 0.29% ). 🥷

How's The Sneaky Sneak Work?

  • Midnight runs the show. A Midnight contract gets its own plain Ethereum account and keeps users' balances and identities shielded.

  • Sig Network signs. A threshold of independent signers signs only what the contract asks for, so nobody can go rogue.

  • Ethereum settles. Trades hit Uniswap and Aave at the prices they're already quoting, with nothing bridged or wrapped. The only thing crossing chains is a signature.

Sound familiar? It's the same threshold-signing trick as NEAR's Chain Signatures down in the privacy section (it’s in the News In Three Sentences stuffs below). Still a work in progress. But if it works smoothly, then ETH doesn’t have to go through the mess of how to build a privacy layer into it. 🔨

Tether Builds A Foundation To Fight Crypto Scams 👏

Tether announced the FASE Foundation today, a Swiss nonprofit going after crypto scams, backing trafficking survivors and piloting stablecoin aid in places banks never bothered with. No sarcasm this time. Good idea, guys. 👏

Who's in? Anchorage Digital, Kraken, Chainalysis, Bybit and the Solana Foundation, among others, with the UN's drug and crime office advising.

Why lump scams and trafficking together? Because a lot of those pig-butchering texts hitting your phone come out of Southeast Asian compounds staffed by trafficking victims. Go after one and you're going after the other.

First up is a Goodwall alliance teaching scam-spotting to up to 10 million young people across Africa, Latin America and Southeast Asia. There's also a stablecoin aid pilot with Prosper Global (formerly Mercy Corps) that could reach a million people.

No budget number yet. Still, crypto's spent years being the getaway car for scammers, so watching the industry build a roadblock for once is a nice change of pace. 👍

🤖 BingX Lists Anthropic About Five Minutes After The S-1

Anthropic filed its S-1 on Monday, and by Tuesday BingX was advertising Anthropic pre-IPO trading - 24/7, no lock-ups, no US brokerage account needed. What are you trading? The release doesn't say, but the link points to a USDT perpetual, and there's a 500,000 USDT prize pool attached. Nothing says careful price discovery like a trading contest. BingX.

☁️ Alibaba Cloud Moves Qwen Onto Theta EdgeCloud

Alibaba Cloud tapped Theta EdgeCloud as its decentralized AI distribution platform, and Qwen3.8-Max and Qwen3.8-Flash are already sitting in Theta's on-demand model catalog. One of the biggest clouds on Earth renting space on a decentralized GPU network? Theta Labs.

🎩 Truflation Names Its AI After Harry Truman

Truflation spent two years building Truman, an AI wrapper that plugs whatever model you like into its live price data to kick out hedges and signals before the official numbers land. The name nods to Harry Truman, who famously said he only told the truth and people thought it was hell. Anybody who's called inflation early at Thanksgiving dinner knows exactly how that goes. Truflation.

🔐 NEAR Puts Chain Signatures Inside A Locked Box

Every Chain Signatures operation now runs inside trusted execution environments on Intel TDX chips, so anyone can verify the signing onchain instead of taking NEAR's word for it. There are 17 independent operators, Bitwise and Nansen among them, and 11 have to agree before anything gets signed. NEAR.

🗾 BlackRock, SBI And Startale Agree To Think About It

SBI Holdings and Startale signed an MOU with BlackRock to explore hooking tokenized money market funds up to JPYSC, a yen-denominated trust-type stablecoin. No launch date, no dollar figure, just a stack of executives agreeing on-chain finance is inevitable and Japan shouldn't be late. An MOU is finance's version of "we should grab coffee sometime," but when BlackRock's the one texting, you clear your calendar. Startale.

🥇 Bybit Gives Tether Gold A Day Job

Buffett's oldest gripe about gold is that it just sits there, and now it sits there with an allowance. Bybit and XAUE Protocol are paying 2.83% fixed APR on XAUt for a 90-day term through Bybit Easy Earn, first come, first served out of a 2,000 XAUT pool. Returns are measured in gold, so you keep the gold and get a little more gold for waiting. Bybit.

CustodySync lets qualified custodians, starting with Anchorage Digital Bank, post a transfer-restricted receipt token to a DeFi lending market so clients can borrow while the assets never leave custody. Chainlink's Proof of Reserve and price feeds keep both sides doing the same loan-to-value math. Chainlink.

🥞 PancakeSwap Puts An Expiration Date On Its CAKE Bridge

LayerZero is pulling its off-chain services from opBNB, so PancakeSwap's route for bridging CAKE out of opBNB dies November 23 at 00:00 UTC. CAKE and opBNB themselves aren't going anywhere, but PancakeSwap wants anyone with CAKE parked there to bridge it well before the deadline. PancakeSwap.

🎰 Degen Terminal Says Skip The Bridge Entirely

Degen Terminal plugged in SODAX so somebody holding USDC on Base can buy an xStock like NVDAx on Solana in one shot, no bridge. Robinhood stock tokens work the same way across SODAX's 21 networks. An Earn tab is coming next, because no app named "Degen" is complete without a place to park the winnings, or whatever's left of them. SODAX.

🏔️ DeFi Development Corp Adds SOL As Alpenglow Goes Live

Solana's Alpenglow upgrade went live October 21 with finality around 150 milliseconds, which is about how long it takes to blink. Travala will now match the AVA Foundation's monthly buyback at up to 3x, depending on how much AVA members earn back on bookings.
