Dip Buyer Asks Market To Stop Offering Such Excellent Opportunities 😶

Kraken's Parent Bought Some AAVE. How Much? Mind Yo Business 🤐
Payward, the parent of Kraken and NinjaTrader, bought a chunk of $AAVE ( ▲ 1.45% ) on the secondary market yesterday through an affiliated fund and that fund's clients. How big a chunk? Undisclosed. 🤐
The buyer of record is Digital Asset Special Investments I, LP, which is what happens when you let the compliance department name the boat.
Fun Aave fact: Aave reports $33 billion in net deposits and $11 billion in active loans, the biggest on-chain lending network around.
A plan called "Aave Will Win." It sends revenue from Aave Labs' products to the DAO treasury on top of network fees, and AAVE holders vote on that treasury.
Two quotes, zero figures. Payward talked up long-term conviction in on-chain credit, and Stani Kulechov called it a step toward retail and institutional users.
This isn’t anything new, Karken/Payward has been pursuing, publically, a phat stack of of AAVE for a while, but’s kind of ironic. On Monday I wrote about the North Korean wallet that pledged 60 million stolen USDT on Aave and walked out with 19,762 ETH in three minutes. Payward looked at the bank North Korea used as a drive-thru and still said, ‘yes, we like this.’ 🙄
A Single Typo Shouldn’t Cost You a Sale

A shopper types “running shos” and gets nothing back. Another types “red waterprof trail runners under $150” and hits the same wall. Both knew what they wanted.
Traditional site search relies on exact keyword matching, leaving shoppers stranded at “0 results found” screens.
Gladly understands what shoppers mean, typos and all. Instead of a dead end, they get products that fit what they asked for and a conversation that keeps them shopping.

Samsung Stuffs USDC Into 82 Million Galaxy Phones 📱
Samsung Wallet switched on its Stablecoin Account, letting eligible U.S. Galaxy (the phone, not the crypto company) owners buy, hold, send and receive $USDC ( ▼ 0.01% ) without a crypto app or a private key to lose. It settles on $SOL ( ▲ 0.37% ) and reaches about 82 million phones. 📱
Samsung built it with Bastion, a licensed stablecoin custodian, with Coinbase holding the USDC underneath.
No Samsung fee on sends to other Samsung Wallet users or outside crypto wallets.
Not New Yorkers, who sit out every fun thing like the kid with a permanent note from his mom.

Wall Street's Blockchain Moved $7.6 Trillion In October. Your Bags Moved Too 🪦
Broadridge's Distributed Ledger Repo processed $7.6 trillion in October, averaging $345 billion a day. $BR ( ▼ 1.82% ) calls DLR the world's largest institutional platform for settling tokenized real assets, and I'm in no condition to argue with anything that went up. 🪦
Speaking of the repo man. Repo, if you didn’t know, is Wall Street's overnight pawn shop: a bank pawns Treasuries for cash and buys them back the next day.
One average October day on DLR, for scale:
About two Binances. Binance's pile was $171 billion when it reopened withdrawals last Sunday.
Roughly 67 Figures. Figure's on-chain loan marketplace moved $5.12 billion all last quarter.
Zero tokens. No airdrop, no anime-avatar Discord.
Next is DLX, the same infrastructure from issuance to distribution, intended for everyday market use in 2027. ⚰️

Injective Got A Nasdaq ETF That Stakes While You Sleep 😴
Canary Capital's $INJC ( ▲ 2.87% ) is now listed on Nasdaq, a fund that tracks $INJ ( ▲ 2.43% ) and stakes the tokens it holds, with net staking rewards folded into NAV! Translation: INJ exposure from the same brokerage account holding your 401(k) rollover and that one GameStop share. 😴
INJC is the blue pill from The Matrix. You stay in your brokerage account, never touch a wallet, and the fund does the staking for you. The red pill crowd can keep their seed phrases in a fireproof safe.
Injective's impressive stats:
3.13 billion transactions processed as of Oct. 22.
7.27 million INJ burned, about $58 million worth, through monthly buybacks. Add CAKE and ALEX from Wednesday and it's been a big week for bonfires.
257,300 monthly active addresses.
Over $1 billion in tokenized assets.
Full disclosure, I hold INJ. And an issuer named Canary launching altcoin ETFs into this market is almost too on the nose. Somebody has to go down the mine first. 🐤

Corporate Cash Just Lost Its Weekends Off 📆
Multiliquid launched Multiliquid Treasury, which pays corporate treasuries a yield tied to 3-month T-bills, with redemptions into cash or stablecoins 24/7 in a single atomic transaction. And it's already live on $ETH ( ▼ 0.03% ) and $SOL ( ▲ 0.37% ). 📆
Monday I called corporate cash a teenager on summer break, back when Uber needed HSBC and a pilot program just to make it work one weekend. Time for its performance review:
Attendance: Poor. Money market funds close on weekends and bank holidays, and weekday redemptions have to beat cut-offs.
Productivity: Sits in non-interest-bearing accounts. On $25 million, Multiliquid says that's up to $875,000 a year left on the table.
Improvement plan: Lend it to a bankruptcy-remote Delaware SPV that spreads it across tokenized money funds from WisdomTree and Janus Henderson, with a 5% to 10% cash buffer.
What happens when everybody wants out at once? That buffer leans on institutional repo lines.
It's accredited and institutional investors only. 💼

🛡️ The Only Budget In Crypto That Grew By Spending It
The Financial Privacy Foundation's Q3 report has Zcash Community Grants holding 86,884 ZEC, about $125 million at September's close, with treasury value up 1,718% from a year ago. ZEC ran from $457 to $1,437 between the end of July and the end of September, so the ZK AV Club's bounty pot paid contributors every month and still more than doubled in dollars. Grant submissions jumped 243% too, because nothing draws a crowd like a fat treasury. Financial Privacy Foundation.
